Prof. Sesan Peter Ayodeji is joint winner of The Nigeria Prize for Science 2022 on Sustainable Food Security with their invention of Process Plant for Plantain flour which he did in collaboration with his former PHD student in Mechanical Engineering, Dr Emmanuel Olutomilola. A professor of mechanical engineering at the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo state, he obtained his B.Eng, M.Eng and PhD degrees in mechanical engineering in the same university and was a lecturer in the university
