The journey to crown the winner of The Nigeria Prize for Literature has reached fever pitch, as the Advisory Board on Thursday unveiled the shortlist of three.

The Nigeria Prize for Literature is one of the 10 richest and most prestigious literary prizes in the world and worth USD100,000 in award money.
The Nigeria Prize for Literary Criticism, with a $10,000 cash reward, aims to raise the public’s awareness of Nigerian authors and literary critics.
Professor Wang leads Process and Energy Systems Engineering Research Group at University of Sheffield (since 2016), UK with expertise in modelling, optimization and control for power plants, carbon capture utilisation and storage (CCUS), energy storage and bio-energy.
Dr. Eni Oko is a highly accomplished Process and Energy Systems Engineer and Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Chemical Engineering at Newcastle University, UK.
Dr. Olajide Otitoju, a Chemical Engineer from Omuooke-Ekiti in Ekiti State, Nigeria, is a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Sheffield, UK.
Olubunmi Familoni writes plays, short fiction, and essays. His collection of stories, Smithereens of Death, won the ANA Prize for Short Stories in 2015.
